Hi and welcome to my blog on MJPhotosCollectors.com.
My name is Raïsa, I’m the J5 gallery admin and I’m starting this blog so that I can share some MORE pictures of the Jacksons 5 brothers. I’ve already posted many pictures of Michael and the J5 in our main gallery but I also still have quite a lot of solo pictures of the brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy. Since those pictures don’t really fit in our gallery, I’m going to share them right here.
Most of the pictures that will be posted here will come from old ‘70s magazine scans that I got from my friend, Ron.
So, this is mainly going to be a photo blog with perhaps a little story here and there if I find some interesting stories somewhere to share (suggestions are always welcome too). I myself am a ‘90s kid and sadly don’t have any J5 concert experience or own J5 stories to share so I’m going to have to rely on articles and other people’s stories. I am going to try to post something new on a regular basis, it will depend on how well things go.
As a taste of what will come, here's one of my favorite pictures of one of my favorite brothers. This picture is taken from a 'right on!' magazine (November 1972). Marlon is wearing the same shirt as this Michael Ochs photoshoot of 1971. Michael wore the same shirt in this other Michael Ochs shoot of 1971. In fact, I think Michael may even be wearing that same shirt again in this unknown photoshoot at home and this Gene Trindl photoshoot. It was a very popular shirt indeed and it's nice to see them share their clothes.
I always had a soft spot for little Marlon!
