Lisa Marie has posted a new blog entry on her myspace.
I think this is a great idea, especially for June 25th getting closer.

Read her message here:

Greetings MJ Fans....

While visiting him a few days ago at Forest Lawn , Riley and I couldn't help but notice that , while there are a few bouquets , candles and gifts there is a very large empty space around him and in front of him that could use a whole lot more.
While , I am sure that the staff at The Holy Terrace do their very best to place what is sent and what is placed at the door at his tomb ,  I thought you might like to know that he would want and deserves  more than what is there and I had an idea.......
Some may or may not know this but his favorite flower was the Sunflower.
They made him happy because they looked happy to him  ,  Thus, he called them "The Happy Flower".
When we were married , I would try and fill up rooms with them  wherever he was.
I wanted to bring something to place near him that he liked and that wouldn't die so I brought a large vase of silk sunflowers and placed them near him.
This barely made any kind of dent  in the atmosphere so I thought of maybe letting those who care know what the situation is and how we can solve it.
I know how much he loved and appreciated being showered with Gifts and flowers by his fans , I thought if whoever wants to bought just one silk sunflower each and sent it , the whole area around him and in front of him (As well as the two large empty vases that sit on either side of him) could be filled up in no time , which would be much more appropriate than what the current status is right now.
We can all cause a "Sun shower"  if you will...........
He deserves to be flooded and surrounded , LETS SURROUND HIM!
Lots of Love,
~LMP

There are two Forest Lawns in LA which is confusing,
Below is the correct address to send them to:

The Holy Terrace At Forest Lawn
1712 South Glendale Avenue
Glendale Calif, 91205

The sunflowers are fine but folks should remember that Forest Lawn does not accept silk flowers, only real ones. Forest Lawn will be happy to place flowers for you inside the mausoleum and there are also nearby flower shops that have more selection so you needn't only rely on the FL shop collection.
Love that he loved sunflowers  :D

Could you please explain to me how I can order flowers to be placed at Michael's resting place from abroad? Does the FL shop offer something like that?

So far, I didn't really find a hint on the website of the FL flower shop.

Obviously they allowed LMP's vase of silk sunflowers to stay.
She must have cleared it with them before making this request.

I for one love the idea and will be sending a dozen!

I don't know about LMP very well. So I have mixed feelings about this news.
I felt like she said we, MJ fans are not loyal to him :(

Well, I'm not sure about that. Lisa might not know that fans are bringing gifts and flowers regularly to Forest Lawn. I am not sure, but think that the gifts will be removed after a certain time. Plus, fans aren't allowed to step into the Mausoleum, so we do not have lots of influence how the area around Michael's crypt is made up.

BTW:
Michael Jackson crypt gets thousands of sunflowers

GLENDALE, Calif. — Sunflowers are now blooming outside Michael Jackson's crypt.

Grower Jason Levin on Friday delivered up to 2,000 sunflowers to the massive marble and concrete Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale.

Levin says he decided to donate the $3,000 to $5,000 worth of bright yellow flowers after hearing Lisa Marie Presley complained there were only a few bouquets, candles and gifts surrounding the tomb. And Levin heard sunflowers were the late pop star's favorite.

Levin, the owner of The Sunflower Guy in San Diego County, loaded up a truck and left Vista at dawn. Three hours later, he was unloading the flowers outside the heavily guarded mausoleum. Forest Lawn officials told him they would take them inside.

Jackson died at age 50 on June 25.

Irene at the Forest Lawn flower shop says she will reserve a large vase dedicated just to Michael’s fans and that it will hold 50 fresh sunflowers that will be replaced weekly.  In the fall the fresh sunflowers will be replaced with orange sunflowers!

Unfortunately, even though Lisa-Marie suggested them, silk flowers are generally not allowed, according to Irene.

The cost for this automatic fresh-flower replacement process is $200-$250 per week.

To make this program work, we would need 40 people per week to donate $5.00 each, or 160 people to donate $5.00 each per month, based on the $200 per week cost for 50 sunflowers in Michael’s vase.

Michael has millions of loving fans around the world so we should easily be able to do this for him!

Sandra, who has coordinated this project with Irene at Forest Lawn has a confirmed PayPal e-mail address for this effort. You can send your payment for sunflowers for Michael’s vase to: mindwave2002@netscape.net on Paypal.

If you’d like, you can leave your name and where you are from in the ‘email to recipient’ section in PayPal and Sandra will make sure your name is included with the flowers for that week.

Please be aware that mindwave2002@netscape.net is not my PayPal account and is not in any way managed by myself or MJJ-777.com.  It belongs to Sandra and she is handling the transactions with Forest Lawn. If you have questions regarding your payment, amounts collected, etc., please email Sandra at mindwave2002@netscape.net.

Also, I got the website of the Sunflower guy who delivered the sunflowers if you want to order from him:

thnx, MJSunshine,

When I read Lisa's comment, in fact, I was a little bit uncomfortable because I thought,"it's now too late to try to show her love for Michael". But she loves him in her way, I think. thnx MJSunshine, thanks to you I calmed down a little :)

I know that sunflower's story! It made me happy <3

I always loved the sunflowers, I was in love with this flower, in my childhood
when I saw the film by Vittorio De Sica - I Girasoli, with Marcello Mastroianni and Sophia Loren.
Michael could only enjoy something as enigmatic as he was.
This concern her, all this affection, only shows us, that she never forget him.
Michael Jackson still has a lot in her heart.
Okay Lisa, join us, We all love him.

Lisa made a new blog entry today, June 25th:

"Sunshower"

The Song" Sunshower" by Chris Cornell says more than anything I could say...............

---

Thanks to mjfan1234 from maximum-jackson for posting the lyrics to this song:

Dark as roses, fine as sand
Feel your healing and your sting again
I hear you laughing and my soul is saved
On forgotten graves you cry

Crawl like ivy up my spine
Through my nerves and into my eyes
Cuts like anguish
Or recollections of better days gone by

But it's all right
When you're caught in pain
And you feel the rain come down
It's all right
When you find your way
Then you see it disappear
It's all right
Though your garden's grey
I know all your graces
Someday will flower
In the sweet sunshower

Eyes like oceans so far away
A feather trail to a better way
Worried mornings turn into days
Then into worried nights

But it's all right
When you're all in pain
And you feel the rain come down
Oh it's all right
When you find your way
Then you see it disappear
Oh it's all right
Though your garden's grey
I know all your graces
Someday will flower
Oh in the sweet sunshower
Oh in the sweet sunshower
In the sweet sunshower

I know all your graces
Someday will flower
In the sweet sunshower
And it's all right
All you'll be you are today
Are today
It's all right
All you'll be you are today
Are today.........
