July 14th 1972, the album ‘Jermaine’ is released.
It was Jermaine’s first solo album and it became number 1 on the US R&B charts.
Two singles were released: ‘That's How Love Goes/I Lost My Love In The Big City’ and ‘Daddy's Home/Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While)’.
The full tracklist and 30 second snippets of each song can be found  here.

So… time for some more pictures of this shoot!
I made a collage of all kinds of pictures I found on the net:

And then, there's these two scans:

Unlike many others, I guess, I've never been a real fan of Daddy's Home. I think it's just too slow sometimes. But I LOVE That's How Love Goes, especially when it's done live like on the Live at the Forum cd!
What's your favorite song?

Thanks for those links!
I quite liked Daddy's home myself, but my favorite song always was Ain't That Peculiar and That's How Love Goes too.
Funny to find If you were my woman on this album, but I much prefered the Gladys Knight version personally. ;)

Yes, I love Gladys Knights's version too. And "Ain't that peculiar" is one of my favorite Marvin Gaye songs!
Jermaine did a good job on both of them but I heard Gladys knight's and Marvin Gaye's versions first and it's kinda hard to top them :D
